| Ancient Forest | I like this one. It has a magical aura about it. The Sleeping Forest in its full glory. | 8.8 |
| Barret's Theme | Not one of my favorites. It is kind of upbeat. You hear it once, in the beginning. | 7.2 |
| Birth of the God | It's Safer Sephiroth, and he is kickin' ass! | 9.0 |
| Black-Caped Man | One of the cave themes. Personally, I like it. It has the right touch of mystery to it. | 8.3 |
| Bombing Mission | Oh yeah. This one rules. | 10.0!! |
| Boss Battle | This one's good, but I've heard better versions of it. | 7.5 |
| Boss Battle 2 | This one's not even as good as the first one. Some weird sound effects. | 7.0 |
| Boss Battle 3 | HELL YEAH!!!! This one's THE BOMB! | 10.0!! |
| Boss Battle 4 | This one's almost as good, too. It doesn't get the full 10 'cause it's way too quiet. | 9.5 |
| Boss Battle 5 | This one pales in comparison with the previous two. Frankly, it's not that good. | 6.0 |
| Cait Sith (Tha Cool Cat) | I love this one. Quiet, smooth and jazzy, like Tha Cat himself. | 10.0!! |
| Chocobo Farm | It's nice and peaceful. Not really much else. | 6.3 |
| Cid | This one's great. You can easily tell this is a pilot. It just strives for the sky... | 10.0!! |
| Costa Del Sol | The tropical paradise, Costa Del Sol. It's an okay piece, but considering Costa Del Sol really has no function, I don't rate it high. | 5.8 |

| Darkness | One of the cave themes. Sounds mysterious... | 8.3 |
| Electric de Chocobo | Yaaaay!! The Chocobos are here! Theme for encountering those yellow Green-grubbing birds on the field! | 8.3 |
| End of Shinra | "It's over, it's over, my God, it's all over." The great Shin-Ra, destroyed... | 8.6 |
| Ending | The ending music, sometimes referred to as the Final Fantasy theme. | 9.5 |
| Escape! | I just love this one. When your heroes get into a sticky situation, more often than not every ten minutes, and have to extricate themselves, this music plays. | 10.0!! |
| Fanfare | The victory music. This one's a classic all the way from Final Fantasy 4. It'll have you dancing (literally). | 9.0 |
| Fanfare 2 | I love the Final Fantasy fanfares. | 9.0 |
| Fiddle de Chocobo | The Chocobo Racing theme. This one gets annoying after a while, but don't you just love those awesome Chocobos? | 8.7 |
| Fight | The battle music. I like it a lot. | 9.3 |
| Fight 2 | This version's also pretty cool. | 9.1 |
| Fireworks | This one is for the time when Cloud and Aeris go on a date and observe the beauty of Gold Saucer. Thanks to STRYFE for the information! | 6.8 |

| Gold Saucer | Casino, night club, colosseum and hotel all in one, the Gold Saucer provides fun for the entire family! Bring your kids! | 4.8 |

| Highwind | This is a good one. It's reachin' for the sky, you can tell... | 9.0 |
| Jenova's Theme | Arguably the best battle music ever created. I'm inclined to agree... | 10.0!! |
| Jenova's Theme 2 | Slightly worse than the first one, and shorter. | 7.5 |
| Jenova Absolute | The final battle with Jenova-SYNTHESIS. This is another great piece, and one of my favorites. | 10.0!! |
| Kalm Town | How peaceful...how boring. | 5.0 |
| Main Theme (field) | I like it, actually. Has a good, "wandering" melody. Fits the overworld map. | 8.5 |
| Mako Reactor | They don't get much better'n this... | 10.0!! |
| Materia Mountain | D'oh! After all that great music, this sucky one has to come along. Reminds me of the AWFUL "????" track in the FF6 music CDs. | 3.0 |
| Mideel (also Bone Village) | I don't like it that much. The theme of Bone Village and Mideel. | 4.8 |
| Midgar | This is the name of the piece, but I can't see how it relates to Midgar... Not that good. | 6.2 |
| Mog's House | I have one word to say about this...ANNOYING!!!!! | 5.0 |
| Motorcycle Chase | This scene in the game rules, but this adaptation of the music isn't that good at all. It picks up towards the end, so I won't give it something really bad. | 5.1 |
| Nibelheim | Ominous piece. Sounds first when you visit Nibelheim, but is heard in many other places later. I've got mixed feelings about this. It's a tad monotonous, but it really conveys the mood. | 7.9 |
| Nightmare | The mysterious and melancholy theme of Vincent and Lucrecia. I really sympathize with Vincent and consider him a very well developed character. Let's not quibble over why. | 10.0!! |
| One Winged Angel | The final epic battle with Saviour Sephiroth. This is a musical masterpiece. It would be a shame to rate it lower than 10. | 10.0!! |
| Opening Theme | A good beginning to FF7. Not great, but good, especially when you see it. It's a really effective addition to the scene it accompanies. | 8.5 |
| Oppressed People (Wall Market) | This is a good piece, fitting Wall Market well. If you notice, there's a sort of ominous background sound to it. | 8.3 |
| Prelude | I'm going to give this a 10, just for being a classic. It's soothing... | 10.0!! |
| Red XIII's Theme | Compared to some of the adaptations of the Cosmo Canyon theme, this isn't that good. The theme of Red XIII, the red lion! | 7.2 |
| Rufus' Parade | The music of the parade thrown for Rufus when you first visit Junon. I've never liked this one much... | 6.9 |
| Sending a Dream Into the Universe | This is the wistful melody of Cid's rocket. Sure pulls the ol' heartstrings... | 8.7 |
| Sephiroth's Theme | This is absolutely THE BOMB!!! | 10.0!! |
| Seto, the Great Warrior | A melancholy version of Valley of the Fallen Star. | 8.1 |
| Shinra Corporation | The .mp2 version of this piece is so much better. This is an ominous piece, and with the booming sound effects the .mp2 version makes it outstanding. Email me if you want the .mp2 version, it's pretty damn big. | 9.2 |
| Shinra Tower | Creepy music for infiltrating the Shin-Ra HQ. Repetitive, but good. | 7.6 |
| Thoughts in My Heart | This one's not that good. Basically, the theme outside Midgar. | 6.5 |
| Tifa's Theme | I like this one. A good theme for the friendly, optimistic Tifa. | 9.5 |
| The Turks | This one's great. Reno, Rude, Tseng, Elena, and company, everyone! | 10.0!! |
| Valley of the Fallen Star | Red XIII's hometown, Cosmo Canyon. See what I meant when I said this was better than Red XIII's theme? | 10.0!! |
| Valley of the Fallen Star 2 | Cosmo Canyon again. Somehow this one just isn't as good. | 8.8 |
| Yuffie's Theme | The music sounds like some rustic backyard somewhere in Arkansas or Scotland. Yuffie's cool, but this theme doesn't fit her completely, despite the fact that it conveys her bouncy fun-loving ways. | 7.3 |
