| Another Moon | Man, someone was drinkin' when they wrote this... | 7.5 |
| Bab-Il Tower | Hmmm... it does kinda get across the feeling of "oh hell, this is a long climb." It's a good piece, but maybe not for a tower. | 7.6 |
| Bab-Il Tower 2 | Again, this is better than the first one. Don't ask why. | 7.8 |
| Baron Castle | Not many FF2 MIDIs get a 10 rating. This is one of the few. | 10.0!! |
| Battle | This one's great. Actually, all the Final Fantasy battle themes are. | 8.9 |
| Battle 2 | I don't see much difference between this and the first one. They get rated equal. | 8.9 |
| Big Whale | I kinda like it. Uplifting theme for the airship which takes you to the moon. | 7.4 |
| Boss Fight | They don't really get better than this. This piece is debatably the best piece in Final Fantasy II. This MIDI version's great, as well. | 10.0!! |
| Boss Fight 2 | This adaptation is good too. There's some cool echoing effects in this one. | 10.0!! |
| Boss Fight 3 | Man, this one's weird. It definitely deserves to be taken down a notch. What instrument is that, anyway? | 7.5 |
| Calbrena | I HATE the Calbrena. Maybe I'm prejudiced against its music... | 6.5 |
| Chocobo! | I've heard better Chocobo themes than this. (But I LOVE the Chocobos!) | 5.8 |
| Chocobo! 2 | Better than the first one, but still doesn't quite cut it... | 6.8 |
| Darkness (Cave Theme) | The Final Fantasy II cave themes stand out really well. There's not that many good pieces in this game but the ones that are good are REAL good. | 9.3 |
| Darkness 2 | This one's even better. I don't quite know why...maybe it's because it sounds more like a rushing underground river type of thing... | 9.7 |
| Dwarf Castle (Underground) | The theme for the underground world. I like it well enough, but I didn't like the world itself in the game (1 town? Come on!)... | 7.7 |
| Epilogue | Do I have to say it's a 10? | 10.0!! |
| Epilogue 2 | Shorter than the first one, and possibly of worse quality, but still a perfect score. | 10.0!! |
| Fabul | Oriental-sounding, good piece. This is the hometown of Yang, Karate Master. I like it very much, even though it's short. | 9.1 |
| Fanfare | The Final Fantasy fanfare is a great, uplifting piece. Too bad this isn't a very good adaptation of it... | 7.5 |
| Fanfare 2 | Slightly better than the first, but not by much. | 7.8 |
| Fanfare 3 | This must be the best version of the 3 I have. Still doesn't quite meet the standard... | 8.2 |
| Fiend Battle | For fighting the Four Elemental Fiends, and a few select others. | 8.8 |
| Fiend Battle 2 | This one's more like a different version of the Boss Fight. I really can't say which one's better. | 8.8 |
| Final Fight | For fighting Zeromus. I debated for a long time whether to give it an 8 or a 9, because it has some good parts and some sucky parts, but is an OK piece overall. I decided to go with the 9. | 9.0 |
| Giant of Bab-Il | This piece is heard when you infiltrate the Giant of Bab-Il and again in the Core of the Moon. This is pretty good. Has that "nearing the end of our journey; morale is high" feeling. | 9.0 |
| Giott, King of the Dwarves | This adaptation is, in my opinion, better than the actual game music. Heard in King Giott's underground castle. | 9.2 |
| Golbez' Theme | Why is it my sympathies always lie with the bad guys in a game? This is the theme of Golbez, who, in my opinion, is THE MAN of the whole game. | 7.8 |
| Golbez' Theme 2 | This has a weird "mystical" touch to it. Surprisingly enough, the contrast turns out quite nicely. | 7.9 |
| Golbez' Theme 3 | This is absolutely THE MUSIC for Golbez as far as I'm concerned. Mellow, but dark. | 8.1 |
| Hey, Cid! | A spunky, light piece for the fun-loving, teddy-bearish Cid! Played when he's doing something to the Airship (i.e. very often). | 8.5 |
| Hey, Cid! 2 | I like this one less... | 7.5 |
| Illusionary World | If I'm not mistaken, this is the theme of the Sylph Cave. I think it's a good piece to accompany a magical cave with weird floors and pixies. | 8.1 |
| Long Way to Go | This is the theme of the Tower of Wishes in Mysidia. I loved this one in the game. | 10.0!! |
| Love Theme | This is the theme of Rosa, White Wizard and later, Cecil's wife, the Queen of Baron! | 7.8 |
| Love Theme 2 | This one's quieter than the first one, but I like it more. Kind of reflects starry nights... | 8.2 |
| Lute (Edward's Theme) | This is the theme of the useless bum Edward. Despite the fact that Edward is a complete loser, the music's not half bad. Not enough for a 9, though. | 8.7 |
| Main Theme (Overworld) | Good. Not great. | 7.9 |
| Main Theme 2 | I like this one much better, for some reason. Maybe it's because they have that string part at the very beginning. | 8.8 |
| Mt. Ordeals | Hmmm... I don't like the FF2 mountain music as much as I do others. Thus adaptation is okay, I guess. | 7.1 |
| Mystic Mysidia | Kooky theme for the Black/White Wizards of Mysidia. It's fun and it fits the town well. That's its saving grace. | 7.3 |
| Prelude | Ahhhhhhh... listen to those chimes. This one's a classic. | 10.0!! |
| Prelude 2 | I love this piece. Also called the Crystal Music by some. | 10.0!! |
| Prelude 3 | For being a classic, this piece gets 10. | 10.0!! | Prelude 4 | Relaxing as can be. A bit quieter than the others. | 10.0!! |
| Prelude 5 | What can I say? I love it. | 10.0!! |
| Prologue | This one's a good piece. Lightens the heart, and has the feeling of "our huge journey's only beginning." | 8.2 |
| Prologue 2 | Slightly worse than the previous version. | 7.8 |
| Prologue 3 | This one gets treated the same as the first one. | 8.2 |
| Prologue, Piano Only | Don't listen to this. The cheapness will make you cry. | 2.5 |
| Red Wings | Also known as Cecil's Theme. It rocks. | 10.0!! |
| Red Wings 2 | Definitely not as good as the first version. | 9.0 |
| Rydia's Theme | Caller Rydia's theme. I think it's pretty weak. | 6.8 |
| Rydia's Theme 2 | Even weaker than the first one. | 5.8 |
| Somewhere Out There | No, it's not the song from An American Tail. Actually, it seems to be a remake of Golbez' Theme. I don't quite remember where this is from. I assume it's during Kain's meetings with Cecil when they discussed terms of surrender and suchlike. | 7.6 |
| Sorrow | Whenever a sad event happens, this plays. It's all right. | 7.5 |
| Sorrow 2 | This is an alternate version of Sorrow. Happens at different times. I like it more. | 7.8 |
| Suspicion | I don't know exactly why it's called Suspicion, but it's a pretty good piece. | 7.9 |
| Toroian Beauty | The music of the Toroian Castle. Can't say I like it that much. In fact, the second version is better. | 6.9 |
| Toroian Beauty 2 | This is less quiet and has more detail than the first adaptation. | 7.4 |
| Welcome to Our Town! | Relaxing, boring music for any town you might come across. | 6.9 |
| Welcome to Our Town! 2 | A slightly better version. | 7.1 |
| Welcome to Our Town! 3 | This one gets the same evaluation as the first version. | 6.9 |
| Zot Tower | Another remake of Golbez' theme. This is where Rosa was imprisoned and held captive for Golbez to gloat over. | 7.3 |
