After the cover-up of Final Fantasy V, the American masses were screaming for another Final Fantasy game. Considering the fact that Final Fantasy VI could in no way be called "too similar to its predecessors", because not only was its plot much more developed, and much less linear, but because it had possibly the second best graphics on the SNES at the time. This game concentrates on technology more than the previous ones. Some people say that that's bad. I personally don't think this way. The technological advancements reflected in Final Fantasy VI (released in the US under the name of Final Fantasy III) reflect humanity's constant desire to advance in this area. Final Fantasy VII developed this even further, but let's not get into that right now. And even if the technology slightly marred the glory of this game, the characters were so well developed and the music was so great that it really didn't make any difference in the long run. I always return to this game. Every time there's some new secret to uncover. And even if I know it all, the plot is just too great to pass by. If you don't have this game, bootleg it, buy it, or steal it, 'cause it's great.
